Recovery works!
The Substance Awareness Center is committed to serving our community and sharing the hope, healing, and possibilities that come with recovery from substance use disorders. Approximately 1 in 10 Americans have a substance use disorder, but only 10% will ever access the treatment they need. To that end, we offer a variety of beneficial services.
Highlights:
- We provided over 1700 individual counseling sessions at little to no cost to the persons served almost 3000 group counseling sessions during FY 17-18.
- 85% of persons serve report Satisfaction with services
- Conducted outreach groups and MAT education with 100 inmates at the Indian River County jail
